At Wrekin View, and across the Learning Community Trust, we strive to meet the needs of all our pupils.
Continuously learning, outside the classroom.
Pupils are expected to read at least five times a week at home as this will support them to make the very best progress as they transition through their reading journey.
All pupils from year 1 – year 6 are given weekly spellings to practise at home. These will be practised in class throughout the week in preparation for the spelling test on a Friday.
Pupils in years 5 and 6 should access the Bedrock learning platform at least three times a week. This is designed to support the pupils to develop vocabulary and understanding to support with their progress in reading.
