About

As a parent governor at Wrekin View Primary School, I am pleased to have the opportunity to support the school and contribute to its ongoing development. As a parent of two children at the school, I have a strong personal connection to the community and a real interest in ensuring that all pupils have the best possible experience.

My professional background includes ten years working with adults with learning difficulties, where I developed a deep understanding of care, communication, and inclusion. I now work within the catering industry and the arts, delivering photography and art sessions, which allows me to continue working creatively and collaboratively with others.

Although I am new to governance, I bring enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a genuine commitment to the role. My link governor responsibility for personal development is particularly important to me, as I believe every child should have opportunities to grow, feel included, and develop confidence in themselves.

I am passionate about fairness, inclusion, and taking a compassionate approach in all that I do. I believe that strong relationships between school, families, and the wider community are key to success, and I am proud to play a part in supporting the school as it continues to develop.
