Responsibilities

Mrs Taylor‑Ward is our Special Educational Needs Co‑ordinator (SENCO) and a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring that pupils with additional needs receive the support they need to thrive. She leads on inclusion and special educational needs across the academy, working closely with staff, families, and outside agencies to create personalised support plans. As SENCO, she identifies barriers to learning, coordinates targeted interventions, and helps teachers adapt the curriculum so every child can succeed. Her work ensures that all pupils feel included, valued, and able to achieve their full potential.
